GE receives FAA clearance for first additively built part

GE AVIATION has received clearance by U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for an additively manufactured sensor housing. The component is a result of joined project with The BOEING Company. The component will be retrofitted on 400 GE90-94B one engine type powering BOEING’s 777 aircrafts. Read more
